Deposit -- A deposit of 50% of your entire stay is required to secure all reservations. The deposit will be charged at the time the reservation is made and applied to the last night’s suite charge
Arrival & Departure -- Our arrival and departure times are after 3 PM and prior to 11 AM, respectively, in order to ensure all of our guests enjoy an optimum experience.
Minimum Stays-- Minimum stays may be required during peak periods including weekends and holidays.
Pets -- Pets are not permitted at Keyah Grande. Area kennels are available for your convenience. We are happy to provide a list of kennels upon request; and, upon request, will make a reservation for your pet.
Smoking -- Keyah Grande provides a smoke free environment. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
Dining -- Menus are set daily and designed around guest preferences and availability of ingredients. Meal periods are as follows:
Breakfast: Continental service begins at 7 AM. Breakfast is served 7:30 AM- 9 AM
Lunch: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm (upon request)
Dinner: Cocktails in the bar beginning at 5 PM. Dinner seating: 6 PM-8 PM.
Breakfast and Lunch are casual dress. Elegant dinner service – appropriate attire.
Activities -- On site activities require a minimum 24 hours notice for scheduling. Our activities are provided on a "weather permitting" basis. Should weather conditions deteriorate, every effort will be made to reschedule your activity. If that is not possible, a credit will be given for any prepaid activity.
Telephone -- Cellular telephone service is not available at Keyah Grande. Please inform your potential callers accordingly.
In Suite Entertainment -- Each suite is equipped with a “surround sound” entertainment system. A variety of CDs and DVDs are available for your enjoyment.
Apparel -- Please remember to bring apparel and footwear appropriate for the season; i.e., hiking boots, snow boots, snowsuit, etc., if you plan on participating in any outdoor activity. Weather can change rapidly in the San Juan Mountains. Layers of clothing, a warm coat, and a light poncho in case of rain are recommended even in summer.
Our administrative staff is available for inquiries Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4 PM local time.
Cancellation & Change Policy
Keyah Grande is able to provide memorable experiences in part due to its small size. Respectively, our limited inventory combined with the long term planning by most of our guests requires us to maintain the following restrictions with regard to reservation changes and cancellations:
Cancellations and changes made greater than 90 days from the date of arrival:
- Cancellations- 100% of the deposit will be refunded
- Changes- Arrival date and length of stay changes may be made subject to availability and new rates with no change fee
Cancellations and changes made less than 90 days, and greater than 30 days from the date of arrival:
- Cancellations- 50% of the deposit will be refunded
- Changes- Arrival date and length of stay changes with no reduction in total nights may be made subject to availability and new rates with no change fee. Any changes resulting in a reduction of total nights will result in a change fee of 50% of each night cancelled.
Cancellations and changes made less than 30 days from the date of arrival:
- Cancellations- 100% of the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee
- Changes- Arrival date and length of stay changes with no reduction in total nights may be made subject to availability and new rates and subject to a change fee of 10% of the value of the original reservation. Any changes resulting in a reduction of total nights will result in a change fee of 50% of the value of the original reservation.
Special Event: 50% deposit due at time of booking.
All remaining amounts (less prior paid deposit) due 30 days prior to event.
